Marianna's Organic Spinach & Cheese Pie (Spanakopita) 600g
Marianna's Pies are produced in a women's co-operative in beautiful Halkidiki, northern Greece, using hand-made filo pastry. Each pie is individually handmade daily and filled with fresh, local ingredients following traditional recipes. This Organic Spinach & Cheese Pie (Spanakopita or Spanakotiropita) is filled with iron-packed local spinach, onions, leeks, spring onions and PDO Feta as well as Gouda and Edam for an extra satisfying melt.

Please note the pies are frozen and although we send them out in insulated packaging they will most likely arrive defrosted, in which case they should be stored in the fridge and eaten within 3 days.

Cooking instructions: Remove the tray from its packaging and put straight onto a low shelf in your oven, without pre-heating, and set to 220oC until it begins to rise (about 15mins). Take it out, cut into pieces and return to the oven at 180oC until golden brown (about 45 mins). Ensure it is cooked through before eating.
