Kalamata Olive Tapenade 240g

From one of the oldest olive producers in the city of Kalamata, in the southern Peloponnese, this is a simply delicious and classic olive tapenade that is only flavoured with olive oil, salt and vinegar and made without additives or preservatives. Ready to spread on toast, it can also be stirred into pasta dishes, spooned into Greek yoghurt to go with meat and fish dishes or used to add a salty streak of colour and flavour to bread doughs. Tapenade is a kind of black olive pâté that is extremely popular in southern Mediterranean and middle eastern cuisine. It can be served simply, like this one, or it also goes well with garlic and parsley.
