In the early 1950s, at the junction of Pantocratoros and Ilias Street in Patras, Panagiotis Marlafekas founded Loux, a small family business producing traditional fizzy drinks. Marlafekas used the best ingredients and his own unique recipes and he soon became a favourite among the Patras locals. By the early 1970’s, Loux was expanding and Marlafekas decided to move production to a larger and more modernised facility. The uniqueness and natural superiority of Greek fruit helps create a traditional, natural, and authentic flavour. The company’s principles and values were passed on from father to sons, Costas, Yannis and Platonas, who are moving forward with fixed and non-negotiable values, including a passion for quality, creativeness, thirst for innovation, and respect to all.
