Oeno Π 'Tria Ampelia' Santorini Assyrtiko

The grapes come from 3 vineyards, over 60 years old, in Fira, Akrotiri and Megalochori. The wine ferments and matures in clay amphorae for 16 months, then left on the fine lees. There is no oak involved. The Oeno Π Assyrtiko has a distinct yellow colour and impressive aromas of flint, lemon, petrol, smoke, ripe peach, crumbled bread citrus and honeysuckle. In the mouth, it’s full bodied with great acidity. Ripe citrus mingles with notes of peach, white flowers, sourdough, smoke, wet stone and honeycomb. This has to be the most complex and texturally ambitious white wine ever seen from Greece! Absolutely delicious.

Oeno P, Santorini, Aegean Islands

OENO Π was founded by Paris Sigalas in his family's old wine cave. It is situated in Baxedes-Oia, by the sea, in the area of the Kolumbo volcano. OENO Π produces high-quality wine in limited quantities (20,000 bottles per year). Together with the selected vineyards, they chose the appropriate equipment in order to achieve very high quality. Vinification and ageing of the wine take place in separate amphoras for each vineyard. They believe this large and unique vineyard has not yet fully realised its potential. Our goal is to bring this multidimensional potential to light.
