Rizes Red Pepper Sauce with Garlic 200g
A blend of sweet red peppers, charcoal-grilled aubergines, and tomatoes simmered in extra virgin olive oil. This rich sauce captures the essence of the local, traditional cuisine and fresh produce of north-west Greece, with smoky flavours from the peppers and aubergines perfectly complementing the tangy tomato and aromatic garlic, with just a touch of spicy pepper. Use as a pizza base or addition to pasta sauce. Can also be enjoyed as a dip or spread and can accompany meat, such as grilled or fried pork ('tigania').

Rizes, Kozani, Macedonia
