Step 1

Grate the cucumber on a medium sized grater and add a pinch of salt. Then drain the cucumbers in a sieve and squeeze dry in a clean tea towel.

Step 2

Combine the grated cucumber with the yoghurt, crushed garlic, vinegar, and fresh herbs, if using.  Salt to taste. 

Step 3

Once combined its ready, serve with a drizzle of olive oil on top and some Kalamata olives. 

Tzatziki with Greek Yoghurt

Serves 4

Although traditionally made with sheep or goat's milk yoghurt, you can make it with any of our organic veloudo dairy greek yoghurts.  

  • Healthy

  • Ingredients
  • 150g pot of Veloudo Dairy Greek Sheep's, Goat's, or Cow's yoghurt.

  • 1/2 of a cucumber, seeds removed, grated

  • Half a garlic clove, crushed

  • Splash of red wine vinegar

  • Optionally, small handful of mint leaves, chopped or fresh dill, chopped

  • Drizzle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Salt to taste
