A proper orange wine, made naturally in clay amphora, from a small producer in Crete. Bursting with complex citrus aromas, light tannins and a full body, perfect for pairing with Greek food.
Varietal Composition: 100% Vilana
Region: near Heraklion, Crete
Vineyard: East-facing, 350m altitude
Winemaking: Crushing and then spontaneous fermentation, 20 days maceration. Remaining on the fine lees in clay amphora for 6 months with regular stirring. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Only 600 bottles produced in 2020!
