Marianna's Pies are produced by a women's co-operative in Halkidiki, northern Greece, using hand-made filo pastry, produced daily and filled with fresh, local ingredients to a traditional recipe.
TheirÂ Mini Cheese PiesÂ are made with shortcrust pastry and simply filled with PDO feta!
Ingredients:Â wheatÂ flour (31%),Â feta cheeseÂ (13%), wholeÂ milkÂ (8%),Â partially hydrogenated margarine (8%), extra virgin olive oil (5%),Â eggs, sunflower oil,Â salt, pepper. ContainsÂ glutenÂ and may contain traces ofÂ sesameÂ andÂ nuts.
Cooking instructions: Place the individual cheese pies on an oven tray lined with baking paper. For best results brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds. Set oven to 180oC, without preheating, and cook for 35-45 minutes.
