Halvas Drapetsonas is considered the best in Greece since 1924 and is still prepared with the traditional method in their artisan workshop in the neighborhood of Drapetsona.
Halvas is a traditional Greek sweet, prepared from sesame seeds which are ground to make tahini, to which sugar is added, following a special procedure, which includes kneading by hand. Usually a typical dessert, it can also be eaten as a snack, it combines well with yogurt, fresh or dried fruit and bread. Halvas is a very good energy source to start your day with!
Ingredients: Tahini (crushed sesame seeds), sugar, glucose syrup, vanillin, Saponaria officinalis extract. May contain traces of nuts.
