Messinian Treasure Organic Early Harvest Olive Oil
Loved by Michelin-starred chefs the world over, Messinian Treasure organic extra virgin olive oil from South Western Greece is a superior category oil obtained directly from Koroneiki olives and solely by mechanical means at early harvest (Agoureleo). Harvesting the olives young produces a much lower yield but a much higher quality oil with a vibrant freshness and a peppery, bitter aftertaste. It has an intense green colour due to the high chlorophyll content, strong fruity notes and a rich and luxurious texture. Retains its nutritional values even at high temperatures and works surprisingly well in sweet pastry dishes, adding a little kick. Certification: DIO

Messinian Treasure, Korifasio, Peloponnese
Messinian Treasure produces organic, early harvest, extra-virgin olive oil from Messinia, in the southwest Peloponnese. It is produced from an organic olive grove of Koroneiki olives and is usually pressed in early to mid-November. It has an intense greenish colour due to its high chlorophyll content and the taste is rare and distinctive, intense and versatile; combining at once the beautiful fruitiness of the premature green olives, with a bitter and spicy feeling on the throat in a harmonious and uniquely pleasing combination.
