Organic Cold-Pressed Grape Molasses (Petimezi)
Karaggelis cold-pressed grape molasses (Petimezi) is made using 100% organic grapes from the rolling vineyards of stunning Messenia in south western Greece. The region, famed for its vineyards and for Kalamata olives, is peppered with eco farms and proud smallholders. This dark and velvety liquid has a sweet flavour with mildly bitter undertones. It can be used in both sweet and savoury cooking, for example to add sweetness to a broth, salad dressing or meat sauce. Petimezi is a natural source of fibre, iron and calcium, and it is rich in antioxidants. A fantastic gift for mixologists to use in cocktails.

Karagelis, Kalamata, Peloponnese
Karagelis Lab is based in Messinia, in the Peloponnese, and focuses on analysing varieties of grape and must for the winery industry. The founder, Giorgos Karagelis, began as a chemist with a keen interest in winemaking and opened the lab in 1995. Not content with just providing analysese, he began producing goods inspired by grapes. The result is the perfect organic grape syrup, which is made in a state-of-the-art facility, using no heat in the process in order to maintain the highest levels of nutrients and the natural flavour of the grapes.
