Chelmos Feta PDO 1kg vacuum
Chelmos feta cheese is made exclusively from pasteurised 100% Greek sheep and goat’s milk from the Peloponnese. Following the traditional recipe, each block is preserved and rotated in brine and allowed to develop a rich, peppery, creamy and slightly salty flavour. This is a buttery feta that’s great in a classic Greek salad. Established in 1979, tradition is at the heart of the family-run Chelmos company. Located in Achaea, a region of the Peloponnese that’s rich in vineyards and Mediaeval fortresses, the Chelmos creamery works closely and proudly with its local milk producers.

Chelmos, Achaia, Peloponnese
Established in 1979, tradition is at the heart of this family-run company. Located in the region of Achaea in the Peloponnese, they work closely with producers and carefully monitor the entire process — from animal nutrition on the pastures of the mountains of both Achaia and nearby Ilia, to production methods — ensuring the highest quality of raw ingredients. This is the key to the quality of feta and other cheeses they produce.
