Avantes distillery is run by three women, known as the Three Graces of Avantes. These three graces are so-called after the three daughters of Zeus, who brought beauty, joyfulness and elegance to the world.
Its uniqueness lies in its rich aromatic character. Grace Gin is juniper driven, whilst also having a fresh-pine aroma, which combines perfectly with the presence of kritamos and schinos. The pink pepper and cassia flavor linger in the back, while myrtle hints enhance this complex aromatic profile. Both pink pepper and critamos are a perfect match with spicy characters from coriander, pink pepper and cassia bark. There are underlying hints of an intense freshness with earthy elements.

Avantes Grace gin is inspired by all three characteristics, and it was researched and experimented with extensively before the family settled on the perfect combination of thirteen different botanicals. Continuous distillation is used to flavour the base spirit with eight botanicals (Juniper berries, angelica root, orris, lemon and orange peels, cardamom, coriander and cassia bark), then the heart of the distillation is captured using a vapor-infused method (the same that is used for essential oil production). In addition to the base botanicals, schinos, myrtle leaves, and orange blossom from Evia are added, combined with kritamos (from Crete) and pink pepper. Grace gin has won multiple awards including, most recently, a gold medal at the Europe Wine and Spirit Trophy.
